Coffees from this region tend to be bright, with a medium to brisk acidity, medium to full body, and a clean, straightforward taste. They are well loved as morning coffees. Lower grown coffees such as those from Brazil are softer and medium bodied, whereas higher grown coffees, such as those from Guatemala, Costa Rica and Colombia, have the huge flavor profiles associated with high acidity. They also tend to be quite fragrant and full bodied.
